When Do We Reach Our Maximum Height?

When will I stop growing?

This depends on the person and the timing of puberty.

For Girls …

For girls, the fastest growth spurt usually occurs before she gets her first period. After periods start, girls might grow slowly for another year or so.

For Boys …

For boys, it is harder to tell when growth will stop. Some boys go through puberty quickly and reach their adult height at 13, while some boys keep growing until they are almost 20.
